Thanks to the incredible support of each of these partner organizations,
City Lights has had the privilege of beginning the launch process of our first church plant: ART Church - DeSoto. On February 27, 2022, around 30 people gathered together in a rented space in DeSoto for the first time to worship, pray, celebrate, and cast a vision for the future together.
Under the supervision of Rev. Dr. Andy Whaley and Rev. Harry Smith, Elliott Caldwell and Eric Willis have begun to lead this brand new community of believers. To learn more about ART Church - DeSoto, click here.
Our partners are our lifeline for prayer, spiritual and
emotional support, and financial viability. We see
partnership as reciprocal -- meaning that we will send
new believers to existing ministries if one is located
near to where they live. We are here to serve our
target communities with our partners, not simply
because of our partners.
Are you ready to partner with us?
-
Donate to our general fund.
Though monthly donations help us budget the best, any donation will allow us to continue our work in the DFW community. Due to our congregation-based network model, over 95 percent of your donation goes directly toward on-the-ground missions.
-
Become an official church or business partner.
Without church or business partners, City Lights would not exist. Since City Lights uses a congregation-based model for operations, our goal is to build up your church and business while simultaneously investing in our communities. To learn more about official partnership, click the link below.
-
Become a volunteer or mentor.
Much of City Lights’ success depends on the faithful service of volunteer leaders. By signing up to help with a ministry or mentor a youth with us, you can be an instrumental part of giving hope and opening doors of opportunity to those in need.
-
Pray for and with us.
City Lights is far more than just a social service organization. We are committed to seeing lives open up though Jesus. Prayer is the only way City Lights can successfully bring about hope for our communities. Please let us know that you are praying!
